Default Going back to a Vectra-C

I used to love my old Vectra, before it got wrote off so I guess it was only going to happen again. The insignia I had was great, but the MPG was less than the Vectra (Despite it supposed to be better) and the running costs were just shocking (£100 fuel each tank and sometimes doing that twice a month), so that had to go and got the Corsa.

Here's my past cars I've had:

First ever modded Corsa-D featured in Max Power too

    The Vectra

Which ended up like this as a woman drove into the side of me on a mini roundabout

    So bought this

    Then got this

My dad mentioned that he was going to be buying a new VXLine Insignia, so I joking said I'd have his old car and he said alright. So we found out the trade in value of his car and gave him the cash for that and I bought the car from him.

He picks his up tomorrow, so I got his old one from him today.

08 plate with 26k on the clock isn't too bad! He just used to use it to go to work and back which is 2 minutes away and the odd trip to Scotland when we all went away.

Took a few snaps on the iPhone before I headed to work. I'll be out with the DLSR next week I think!

And a good 'ol Instagram picture.

I decided that I'm going to keep my old Alpine IDA-x305 stereo and fit it to the Vectra, as it's such a great system, it'd be a shame. I was hoping to keep it all OEM looking, but the price of a MP3 replacement is stupid. I was looking to get a CD70 Nav system, but they're about £300-350. I'll be fitting the sub back into the Vectra too, as I do enjoy my music. Especially Beatles with big booming bass.

They're great cars, I think! I love driving big cars and going from the Corsa to the Vectra was just bliss. Steering wheel feels much chunkier, gears much better and just a overall better car.

I had such big hopes for the Insignia, but mine was fairly disappointing too. It was a great car, but I preferred the Vectra I had previously.

Thanks mate. Plans so far are to put in my Alpine X305 stereo and sub and that's about it for the moment. Wouldn't mind some tints and some leather seats etc, but I'm not in a hurry.

Ordered some bright numberplate lights too, as my new plates have arrived. All the paperwork has been sent to my local DVLA office to assign it to my car, so they should be on soon hopefully.

Managed to get the plate cheap at auction the other week, over the moon with it!
