    Default Mirror glass fell off

My passenger side mirror glass fell of today, i am aware this is a problem with the vec as it done this on my old car.

the last time it happened i just went straight to the dealers and got a replacement, however there is loads on e bay, but wich one?

they have Flat , Convex and also the same ones as the right hand side to fit the left with the line through.

my mirrors are heated so i could just buy the glass if need be and just stick on with silicone , as ive found over the last 6 years of owning vecs seems to be a better fix than the manufacturars.

mine fell off recently. Glued it back on with silicone.
On the rear of the mirror, it seemed magnified!
Best get the mirror and glue it yourself.

If you know what mirror you did have get the same one. Mine fell off, but I was fortunate to catch it before it hit the "deck". I used silicone sealer to glue it back on. I have heated mirrors and mine still heats up and works a treat.

I was lucky. I saw mine was hanging on by a thread when doing 70mph on the motorway. I was fortunate that there was an exit a few hundred yards. When I stopped, the mirror fell off in my hand. Lucky not broken and glued the perimeter with 'no more nails'. Imagine it flying off at 70mph in traffic. This is a common problem. A serious safety issue in my view.
