Default HELP Play in new cambelt tensioner 1.9 cdti

Now changing the cambelt on my 1.9 cdti 150 fitted the new pulleys in the kit fitted the new tensioner refitted the cambelt timed it all up ok but i have noticed play in the new tensioner. If i push and pull on the new tensioner pulley towards and away from the engine block there is about 1-1.5mm of movement with everything tight is this normal all genuine Vauxhall bits. anyone noticed this or is my new tensioner faulty.

Have you adjusted the tensioner or just bolted it on? You have to adjust it to take it up the slack and make the belt tight.
