Default SRi Badge in the wrong place???

    Hi all,

I've just been doing some mods on my 05 SRi 1.9CDTi and I've noticed something odd about the SRi badge on the drivers side - it is not over the indicator as on the left hand side but on the drivers door. My neighbour has a face-lift SRi and both side badges on his are over the indicators. What's the story with the odd one with mine

I don't wish to alarm you Si, but the fact that it's like that only on one side may mean that side has had some repair/respray and the person has put the badge back on in the wrong place!

Maybe worth investigating further to see if it's had a repair at some point.

If they've done the work then yes. If it was done before it came to them then they're unlikely to have known if it's had any previous work.

It could also be a replaced stolen/fallen off badge thats been replaced without thought, could contact the previous owner who may shed light, you should be able to tell if it's been painted at night, park under a street light and look for slight shade differences.

It may also be that the last owner wanted it there, and for no other reason!
Now I need a turbo to keep up!

Thanks for all the replys guys.

The wing and door look perfect and everything seems in line. I've borrowed my borthers "night sun" super bright tourch so the conditions weren't perfect. I will look again in the daylight. I happen to think it looks good on the door so I might swap the passenger side over to match instead of moving the odd back, but only after I have gone to see the dealer and asked a few questions.
