Great, another budget that sticks more duty on fuel and increases road tax by the rate of inflation.
Why? What exactly am I getting for my road tax that is related to inflation? An increasing fuel duty in current times is just plain nasty. As I said in another thread I can live with pay freezes etc but putting up costs at the same time isn't fair.
But we'll all get a tax allowance increase, big deal. In two years I might be £150 a year better off - which will have been long paid for by the many fuel increases along the way.
Good to know the high earners are getting a tax break though. Makes me feel all warm inside.
