    Default Ironx

Anyone ever used ironx? Supposed to remove any imperfections that the clay bar doesn't. Brake dust, grinding dust etc. it turns them purple and then just wipe off. Was recommended to me today.

Not used it myself but have a look over on Detailing World to see what it does. Dissolves metallic fall out from brakes and the atmosphere. Looks like a good product to have.

Iron x will remove all metallic surface oxidation , but keep it away from anything like chrome or polished alloy because it will remove the surface of that as well .

Iron X is something to have in your kit. Does exactly what it says on the bottle and won 3 detailing product of the year awards last year on DW. However Autobrite do a product called purple rain which does the same, but smells better and its cheaper.
