Default Minimum wage for 33 year old

    Hi,
I currently work for a well known chain of department stores as a porter/drivers mate through a job agency.I have been very unhappy with the rate of pay i recieve and so have the other workers so this evening i looked up the minimum wage for my age(33) but every page i look at tell me a different amount.

Can anybody point advise me what i should be getting?

    Thanks

There are different levels of NMW, depending on your age and whether you are an apprentice. The current rates (from 1 October 2011) are:
•£6.08 - the main rate for workers aged 21 and over
    •£4.98 - the 18-20 rate
•£3.68 - the 16-17 rate for workers above school leaving age but under 18
•£2.60 - the apprentice rate, for apprentices under 19 or 19 or over and in the first year of their apprenticeship

£6.19 rather than £6.90, easy to mishear the two though, and that is from 1st october 2012
