Thought it may be good to have a list of recommended garges, so Ill start
LP Motors - Pudsey - Body work and mechanical £35 an hour labour and extreamly helpful. Deal in cash
Prospect Garage - Mechanical. £45 an hour labour and dont do cash, but very trust worthy and I know one of the mechanics personaly.
I H MOTORS leeds road outwood....known ian for about 20 yrs used him for m.o.t,s when i worked for fiat..got a good reputation for his work
M&D Motors (Lakeside Garage) Yeadon £45 per hour. These guys are straight down the line. Anything from Porsche to Metro's
Few that ive used/would use again.
Auto Aid - Sheffield (walesbar S26 Area)
Great for everything thts more "general"
Northern Stag - Rotherham
I would trust these with anything, They have done a lot of work on most of my family cars.

New garage opened recently in Dunnington, York. Called Dunnington Motor Care and is run by a bloke called Graham. He's a real nice chap and his rates are very reasonable (charged me £20 for an hours diagnostics).
When he was setting up his aim was to be open when customers needed him, so weekends, evenings etc..

The guys n gals in the parts department at JCT on Sticker lane Bfd, are a good bunch & always give me trade club without a card
For labour i use Richard Henry Autos, Bowling Back Close, Bradford... these guys are very well known on all Scooby & Evo forums, they really do know their stuff & have good rates
I can confirm he genuinely does open to suit his customers! I've just booked in for a timing belt & water pump on bank holiday monday! Hows that for service!! lol
