I popped to collect some 600x300 m/m tiles for our kitchen refurb.
Heck these Vectra estates can take a bit of load. I but 18 packs ( 5 tiles per pack) in the back of my motor and the springs only went down half way from their natural rest to rear tyre. Nearly broke my back carriying them though.

To late the tiles have been carried from the car. I am now letting my back and the rear springs of the car have a rest.............. Heck I will be glad when this kitchen "lark" is finished.
PS I do have some photos of 9 sheet of plaster board and 2 rolls loft insulation in the back of om estate though. I thought they were heavy. But not compared to the tiles.

When I had the company Vectras (1.9 120), I went to Wickes and bought 25 12"x12" paving slabs plus sand etc and carried it all in the hatchback Vectra.
Did this a few times while I was paving some of the back garden.

Maximum weight you can carry is about 500kg for the hatchback/saloon and 600kg for the estate. Though that has to allow for a driver too obviously
