Default Is Vectra C roof bar system Practical ?

By practical, I mean are the Vectra C roof bars easy to fit and remove ? On my previous car it took hours of fiddeling with screws to fit and take off the bars - I prefer to drive without the bars most of the time and only fit them for the occasional trip from the DIY.
How exactly to the bars fit and scure - I have a hatchback 2007 with fittings under flip up covers.

    thanks

I have the thule system that fits under the little flaps. Its a 10 minute job to fit them but its no biggy. On my last car I had the wind up fixings on the thule bars and while they were quicker to fit I never felt 100% they were properly secure. The VX system is made by thule so Im assuming they will be pretty much fix the same.

Cheers - my Mondeo had 2 screws in each corner and you had trouble lining up the holes - needed 2 people to prevent scratching the roof.

I always put them on on my own. Its an Allen key that tightens up the clamps, very secure. Done a trip of over 100miles with my mountain bike on them, no issues.
