Hi all,
For the past week or so there has been a loud sucking noise when I go through the gears. To me it sounds like the air box is sucking to much air in but I'm not sure.
Can anyone help on this one please
Cheers

You running something with a turbo? Pound to a penny it's intercooler/ hose based.
try your flexi pipe.. maybe blowin
As above, update your profile with the vehicle specifications
There are many reasons why such a noise could suddenly appear
I would start with the air inlet, which can be found when you open the bonnet
With the engine running, place your hand over it and confirm air is being sucked in (then turn the engine off)
Next, go to the offside headlamp and you will find a small flexible pipe which leads to the air filter box
Quite often this is removed to access the headlamp, so make sure both ends are in place and match up
Then as above, start up the engine and check there is no air loss from this area
Finally, have someone raise the revs slowly (to about 2500rpm)
Stand directly facing the engine as they do this and trace any unusual air noises that appear
