Free software upgrade on your Vauxhall

Hi Guys
Had a letter the other week from Vauxhall main dealer offering me a free software upgrade to ensure that my car is running at its most efficient and to its most potential.
Is this normal from them?
I did have a re map done 3 year ago, would they find out/over write it??
I think ill pass on it as its running like a dream.

I think if they updated the software then your map would get wiped automatically.

Ignore it - it's just a marketing ploy for the unsuspecting motorist who thinks his car runs on Windows 95 and fancies Windows 7. they get you in, and suddenly find all these other things wrong with the car...
