Default Front LED Fogs - Couple of Questions...

    TWO quick questions:

    1) Does the Siggy facelift use H3 or H11 front fog bulbs? (I've been told opposing answers so far!)
    2) Will LED front fogs cause CanBus warning messages (ie, like it does when fitting LED sidelights)?

    Cheers!

Just done mine with leds, not that impressed with them to be honest, and seriously thinking of changing them back to standard or xenonlook.

    1) H3
    2) Yes it will cause warning messages, and also flicker when you open and close the car.

LED bulbs are bright to look at, hence the reason they are used as DRL's and some side light bulbs. These are not designed to project light onto the road, they are designed so people see the car. They wont project light anywhere near as good the standard bulbs do so they are pretty useless if you want them to function properly as fog lights!

I use my fogs as DRL's and still not impressed with them in the daylight.

I'll probably just leave them as halogen bulbs then. I also use them as DRL's and corner lighting, and like you say, they're not that bright anyway. I might upgrade them to Osram Nightbreakers (or similar) if such a bulb exists?

I see, so you also are running the HLS like me I had the Mtec H3 55w super white hid xenon, but 1 broke really quick ,within 2 months, so decided to try led. But really am dissapointed in the brightness of them in daylight.

I now ordered these : Ring Xenon Max H3
Hopefully they will be better as mtec.

Yep - also running HLS . I might get some Ring Xenon H3's too. I''ve also been looking at Osram Night Breakers, as I've already got them in the headlights and full beam, and they're much brighter and whiter than standard bulbs...
