    Default installing handsfree (Nokia CW-7k)

just ordered the kit from ebay and ive already had a look behind the glove box and found the VDA connector, was hoping i could just splice into the cable rather than buying the connector ,but not sure which pins do what.
i know the following from other threads but which pin is pin 1 ?

    EARTH - PIN 1
    PERMANENT 12v - PIN 11
    IGNITION 12v - PIN 10
    RADIO MUTE - PIN 4
    AUDIO IN +ve - PIN 16
AUDIO IN -ve - PIN 7
    MIC +ve - PIN 18
    MIC -ve - PIN 9

ive attatched a pic of the connector ive found so make sure its the right one.

    many thanks Liam

If you pop the outer casing off from the connector, you will expose the inner terminal block..
The pin numbers will be clearly embossed on the first and last pin on each side of the inner terminal block.

As a guide, Vauxhall and Nokia colours are

Earth - Vx = Brown and Nokia = Black
Permanent Live - Vx - Red and Nokia = red
Ignition Live - Vx = Black and Nokia = Blue
Mute - Vx = Black and Nokia = Yellow

Personally, I just connected my yellow nokia wire to the Vauxhall Mute pin

Blue to my car's ignition live.
Red to the radio's permanent live pin
Nokia black is ground, and is very straightforward
I connected my speakers to the original external speaker, because with the audio routed into my head-unit (CD70), I get double audio amplification, which results in distortion.

    A little advice..
I have a CD70, and I find that routeing the telephone audio through the car speakers results in double amplification.. end result is distortion for the first 10 seconds or so.

Therefore I reverted to using the original Nokia stand-alone external speaker...
    All calls are clearly audible

apologies duplicate post due to web hassle...
