    Default Slashed tyres.

Been painting the calipers this weekend and noticed a screw in a tyre. Upon further inspection I also noticed this. A nice slash on the tyre. Decided to check all the tyres and noticed my other rear tyre with a slash in it. A lot smaller than the pic but you can see where the Stanley blade broke off inside the tyre. Tyres were only 3 months old. I feel like crying ;(

i think if somebody was going to slash your tyres they would do the sidewall, that well be done by road debris..

I assume both affected tyres are on the same side of the car
See if anyone else locally has been affected

Rather strange to only damage two tyres, which suggest the person was walking along the pavement
If you had driven over a road where such items had been dropped then it is more likely all four tyres would have been affected, but it is also possible

Never mind 3 months old, I had it with a tyre that was 2 days old!

Yep, I'm glad I live in country and with a decent sized driveway, I used to live in Accrington came home from holiday once to find all 4 tyres slashed, had 2 tyres done a year or so before that and had a couple of cars keyed, in all cases mine wasn't the only car done and the suspicion was that it was kids from the pikey site just up the road.

They were both on the back. None of my family cars have been done, but i did think that the sidewalls would have been easier. Just had two sunni tyres put on. i bet they're awful.
