Default A bit of advice please

I've just bought a black Insignia, which I pick up next Saturday. There's quite a few scratches around the drivers side door handle, but they're not through the paint. I don't have a machine polished, but was thinking if buying the following products - Megs Scratch X, Poorboys Black hole, and Poorboys Natty paste.

Will these help with the appearance of the scratches, and give the car a good shine?

Scratch. X may help reduce them down no used it myself so don't know how good it is. PBBH is awesome on dark cars and has fillers in so will help mask them certainly.

    Any pics mate.

TBH it sounds like it needs a machine polisher to get rid of them, you will really struggle to remove them by hand. So covering them up is probs your best option. If they are the products you want to use then I personally wouldn't waste my money on scratch X and just buy the other two.

Thanks for the replies, I'll leave the scratch x. I Know I can't remove them by hand, but if I can at least reduce the appearance, that will be ok for now.

Will post pics when I get it. And cleaned it!
