Default VXR bumper & Parking sensor question

    Hi,

I have sorted myself a VXR front end the problem i have now is the VXR bumper does not have the parking sensor holes but it does have the markings on the rear of the bumper apparently.
I have the front parking sensors on my standard sri front bumper can i have these transferred across or do i need to take it to vauxhall and ask them to fit the sensors for me.
Can anyone help me on this please.

I have exactly the same issue, like me u need the fixings which the sensors plug into, which in turn are plastic welded to the bumper .....works out about £25 quid for bits ...but think I'm gonna have to tiger seal them on......hth

Sensors should be a push fit in the bumper and are transferable, the vx ones I removed from a bumper recently just pushed out without any damage

the sensor brackets for the front xvr bumper can be bought from ya
dealer, there is specific ones for the vxr bumper and from
memory they may be in primer which they wud have to be painted either
    way.

in the past ive just used tiger seal to bond them onto the bumper

if its of any help i will dig out the part numbers for the 4 brackets and
i post them on here for you.
