Slide it between the pipe coming upwards to the bottom of the egr valve, just remove the 2 bolts on top of the egr and slide it in

Just curious - when you say semi restricting - does it have a single hole or is it the fiat type with three holes?

The type i ordered is the the one with the single hole mate . I read on a fiat forum last night that it goes onto the right hand side of the EGR valve not underneath like on the 150bhp engine ?? The guy i bought the plate off on eBay has a illustration of where the gaskets go on each cdti and the 150bhp gasket goes underneath the egr valve the 120bhp has an arrow pointing to the right hand side of the egr i am unsure guys

Don't think it really matters it will have the same effect at either location - I put mine between the egr and the flange, but you can put it on the other flange - mines a 120 - be careful putting the bolts back in as its easy to cross thread them and strip the threads in the aluminium egr housing.
