Default Diamond Brite - and the likes

Obviously i wouldnt pay a garage £200+ for this, but i can get the full kit on Ebay for around £30 and apply it properly myself.
Is it all it is cracked up to be or can some one recommend anything better for around the same price?

    cheers

Never heard of it before. I take it one of these "once applied never need to look at your car again" type things?

My car had Diamondbrite protection when I bought it, (part of the deal) in my opinion it was a waste of time and money. The bonnet went dull after a month or so, and the rest of the car looked no different to an untreated car. I had to polish and wax it anyway.

Ah ok. I wouldn't even bother with AG Life Shine, and Im a huge AG fan. Buy yourself some decent polish like AG Super Resin, and a Decent Wax, AG HD Wax or Collinite 915 or similar.

Dont bother with the AG EGP either, just go straight to wax after the SRP.
