clutch problem?

got a vectra c 1.8 ls petrol
took it out last nite and was on my way home pulled up at the lites, went to lift clutch up but there was no bite? it dosent drive at all in any gear or reverse, it was working fine with no problems before this
the pedal is still normal not floppy or anything and it gose through gears fine ( wilst i was stationary ), but it just dosent want to seem to bite at all
any one got any ideas of what it could be ? please as i have not got a clue

have you checked the basics fella fluid level etc

fluid level was low, but also my front n-side drive shaft had gone as well,

How do you mean gone? If its snapped then there is your problem the diff will always send all of the power to the easiest wheel and in your case the one with the snapped driveshaft.
