Thanks for the advice Gsi3.2 may just do the pins next, and to vectravirg, like you i was terrified, i mean i only had the car a week and i was already taking the inside to bits just follow the how 2 on doing this...take your time, get good decent sturdy card to make a template and also be careful with the sticky tape under the roof lining and you find it a breeze....well worth it mate

Right, going back to original post, i took my car out earlier to make double sure the switch was working...result is, orange light on i get wheel spin, orange light off, no wheel spin ...however....i thought that t/c cut in when you reached a certain speed (something like 35 to 40 mph)...i did speeds up to 70+ mph, the orange light stayed on.

Does this mean i have `full` control of the t/c?

Sounds like you have full control of the TC I have ESP on mine & if its off its off!, Door pins are a doddle although you may have to clear the burr off the inside of the new pins before you fit though.

Hi Riskworld...its that easy...was with mine anyway ...but i belive it is a lottery whether you can have it or not....remove the blank plate below the alarm button and if there is a `blue` connector, you may just be in luck
