Similar output to the Fiat Twin Air? VW also did a cracking 1.4 petrol which was both Supercharged and Turbo charged think it was a TFSI? Also Alfa Mito 1.4 has a stonking power out put for a small engine, it is also Turbo charged.

I always go with the theory of there's no replacement for displacement.

Needless to say a three cylinder 1l turbo focus won't be on my wish list

Not surprised in the slightest, the torque will come when the turbo kicks in. Dont know if anyone noticed BMW's latest trick for their new diesel engines, Triple turbo chargers!!!! Where will it all stop!!!!
