    Default Power Steering Belt?

    Are pumps driven by belts? What causes these to snap, its happened on our Vivaro, I suspect lack of fluid or wear and tear?

    Depends on the model. All Vectra's apart from the 2.8 are electric pumps. Like any belt, it'll be subject to wear and tear, a pulley seizing and damage...
