Aircon Rad Needs Replacing

Hi,

I'm new to the forum although i joined in Sept 2011.

I've got a problem with my aircon radiator, which has been punctured by stones and needs replacing.
I live in East Sussex and was wondering if anyone can recommend a reliable aircon specialist or good garage that would not rip me off.
Alternatively if the job is doable myself with only minor mechanical experience.
My car is vectra c 2008 1.8 16v design.

Any help would be appreciated.

Another thing, shop about when it's time for regassing

Average price for a regas is around the £50 mark.

I got a new rad off ebay (lookers vauxhall) for 133 (inc.P&P).
Got the seals from Stevens in Crawley, just need some time to take bumper off.

Whilst I've got the bumper off, I'll put some wire mesh behind the lower grill to stop stones doing this again!

Where are you getting the mesh from and how will you fix it in place.
