    Default Go karting

I recently bought a twin engined prokart and spent a little money bringing it up to scratch (Done it as a mario kart replica! lol).

My problem is that it came with a set of "part worn" tyres, that are absolutely useless, and im already in need of a new set as the ones that were on were very old and also about ready themselves.

Does anyone know how/where im expected to dispose of the old tyres? Ive tried my local council ran recycling site and also the local landfill/recycling that i use as a landscaper but neither will take them off me. So im stuck with 8 useless tyres, and my dad and brother also have 8 used tyres between them as they also own karts.

    Anyone else into karting?

Maybe take them to a tyre company and pay a disposal charge?

So does mine but they don't take go kart tyres. Asked at my other place, how much it would cost (main recycling/landfill in area) and they said places won't take em due to something in the compound?

I only race for fun, and the Mario kart seemed fun to me! Lol, wanted to be different and managed to do it cheap as I just bought plain vynil and made the sticker set myself

Is it worth enquiring at the place you get your tyres from? or maybe ask your local track where they get rid of them? If you go there regular enough they might not mind you adding a coupel to theirs?

One per collection in your household waste? Not Eco friendly but if you've tried the normal routes what's left?
