    Default Cambelt/chain?

Anyone help please. Has a 2.2 Sri got belt or chain? And any idea on cost to replace?

    Thanks peeps. Much appreciated.

    Kev bux ;-)

Chain. Should be good for over 100k but ask rushy for better info.
Now I need a turbo to keep up!

As Bigsig said, it's a chain, but its a little unreliable, so quite a few people haven't made it as far as 100k before having to replace theirs. There's actually no defined replacement interval - it's supposed to last the life of the car.

When you start hearing noises from the driver's side of the engine bay.

No later than 70k really to be safe. The earlier the better, the main failure point is the tensioner, although the odd 52 plate has also been found with the old Vec b style oil jet.
