    Go for it

I have a hybrid turbo, also got new intercooler, manifold, remap, blanked off egr, and no cat in the exhaust.

    I get 230bhp

Nothing else upgrade wise is NEEDED to fit it but you will see little or no difference without a remap or tuning box capable of raising boost. The charge temps should be lower at the same temps with a hybrid but a better intercooler will help.

The fit a turbo (hybrid or standard) you should:

    1) change the oil and filter
    2) change the oil feed pipe and the flitered plug onto the block for the feed pipe
    3) use new studs and nuts to attach the manifold
    4) use a new manifold gasket and EGR offtake gasket
    5) use new oil return line gaskets

I would also suggest leaving the vacuum control line disconnected for 20 miles to let the bearings bed in.

Depending on how you do the job, you may also need new coolant and a regas on the aircon.

Depends on the turbo, do you have any idea what it is?

There are alot of different compressors within the 49, 52 and 56 range, so the exact capabilities of any turbo without knowing the dimensions of the compressor used is impossible to state. There is only one 59mm and one 60mm compressor available though, but they are only good for extreems. The turbine on the Vectra is larger than used on the VAG 1.9 and 2ltr diesels, so restriction would not be an issue until extreems are reached.

As a guide I would say the following

    49mm 150-200bhp
    52mm 150-220bhp
    56mm 150-250bhp

Obviously some rollers will give much higher figures than others, so those figures are reasonably achievable in MY OPINION. As for torque, the engines can hit 400lbft by 2500rpm potentially, so even the standard turbo can produce enough flow down there for 400lbft but it would tail off quickly and if you try to push a smaller compressor too hard at higher revs, it will overspeed and self destruct.

    Hi

Could you fit a hybrid turbo to the 1.9cdti 150 fitted to an Astra? Would it be the same hybrid as for a vectra?

    Regards
    Al

Yes, I have done several and have one example running a very large unit capable of abour 220 wheel power on standard injectors, I could only estimate power available from the +80% injectors as he has not fitted them yet but I ran 228 wheel power happily with a small water methanol jet on top with just 28psi.

The 16v turbos are the same on all varients as far as I know, I have only seen one difference even on Saabs in that the 95 uses a slightly different compressor housing but it can still be interchanged.
