Default Ta technix rear coilover.....lowering further attempt

As above, gonna tackle it in the next few hours.

Seems that everybody who has the ta technix coilovers are too high on the back end, or maybe it's just me lol.

Anyhoo they are currently on their lowest setting, gonna jack the car up and remove the wheels see if i can remove the adjusters or summit and try and get it lower.

If i fail then i may try and acquire some shorter springs or summit, i'll take photos where possible!

Anyone with more knowledge than me or has attempted this before speak up now please

    Catch y'all in a bit!

Right here is what i am faced with, seems the adjuster cup for the rear coilover is at the top, unlike the front wheels. Don't quite know exactly what to do as i am a complete amateur when it comes to these things lol. Could anyone throw some knowledge my way to how i could remove them, and what maybe left behind if i do remove them.

The adjuster fits over the original locator.

Should just be able to remove the adjuster and let it sit against the top part as it did before.

Could you do me a favour and try the adjuster on a standard spring and see if it fits as I want to raise my rear a bit (My Eibach springs are lower than that on the rear).

I don't have a standard spring buddy sorry, bud if you wana swap rear springs and have my adjusters if thats possible lol, pm me or summit.

So how would i go about removing the adjuster cup? My dad has some spring remover tool things, would i have to jack the car up at a different bit of the car, and would i need to undo anything on the suspension?

Pick of the front of the car (which can still go like 30-40mm lower than it is now!!!!!)

And a side view pic to show the rear end being too high!

In that case the coilover springs also wont fit the spring seat.

I take it the adjuster was too wide for it to fit inside the spring?

Try putting a bit of weight in the back... Something like rear seats and trim perhaps? Might help
