Have you remove them already? I found that when I put mine back on, although they looked like they were plugged in enough they wasn't and I was getting reversed actions from the controls(volume up made it go down etc) took them off and plugged them in properly and no problems since

Well stupidly I had the keys in the ignition when I removed them and now I'm getting nothing from them. Are they run off a fuse of any type

Shouldn't have done mate. I took mine off this morning whilst the engine was rinning, waiting for my work colleagues to turn up on site. Still ok.

Have you mad sure there fully seated again ... The clips are pretty touchy when you reconnect them ... Sometimes it's easier to break one of the mountings to ensure they set properly

0-Large smile ......every time it's driven

They full or 1/2 can controls. The button type are a stinker to get back in correctly

Cheers for the replys. They are half can and even just plugged the board in properly to test and getting no response. Starting too wonder if it's my adapter from my headunit that may be the problem all though it's work fine till removal of steering wheel controls

only thing i can suggest, is disconnect the battery for half an hour.
sometimes vectra's have little niggles like this.

Pulling the battery power and reconnecting it later often forces a soft reset.
About 90% of electronic / programming hiccups can be sorted this way.

If this does not sort it, then are you sure that you have refitted everything securely that you disturbed when removing / refitting the steering wheel controls.

Not implying anything by that statment, but even the best of us forget / miss things occasionally.

Other than that, is the adapter loom fitted with any in-line fuses, that could potentially have blown? - especially the CAN communication adapter box.
