I would say you have 3 options, depending on what you prefere. All options require to run cables through the door looms.

Option 1. take the live from instruments light (yellow/grey) wire. The down fall of using this wire is that when you turn your lights on the kerb lights come on, even if the door is open or not, so if the door is closed its possaible that they could over heat.

Option 2. Take the feed from interior light. The down fall this way is the lights come on in the daytime as well, which is a waste and if you turn interior light on with doors closed same again can over heat.

Option 3. take a live feed from instrument lights and - feed from interior lights. kerb lights only light up when side lights or main lights on with door open, The down fall this way is that they wont be on when open car door without lights on ( so walking up to car opening the door at night with no light on, no kerb lights.

Wonder if the option to turn Curb/puddle lights on is still there via Tech2. I might have a look at the weekend, mine being a 53 plate it might just be a hardware and program variant to get it sorted.

I'm going to go via the footwell connections I did before then route them through the door so they turn on just as the interior lights would when opening the doors.

Thanks to everyone who posted here. Many options to choose from which I may review if my route fails .

    Thanks again
