    Default Mpg 1.8vvt

Seen a 2009 Insignia with 35k miles for £7,700, thought it was a lot of car for the money.

Currently have a vectra 2.2DTI what kind of mpg would I get from the Insignia, estimate we get low 40's from the vectra.

    Mainly do town driving

Yep afraid everything I have read about the Insignia 1.8 , means when/if I ever change car I would have to move to a diesel

dont think any of the insignias are decent on fuel , its a heavy car even by todays standards but th 1.8 engine just isnt good enough to move the bulk efficiently imo

I agree, I'm only getting 28 around town although on a good run between 60-70 mph I'm seeing 44mpg which I'm happy with
