    Unhappy Dashboard removal, anyone??

    Hi,

Has anyone had the experience of replacing a dashboard on a vectra??

Unfortunatly my brother-in-law put a bottle of super glue on the dash.....
and yes, it leaked leaving a big white stain on the passenger side (looks rude really, but the birds love it )

ANYWAY back to my question...I just needed to know, does the steering wheel need to be removed in order to replace it and generally how hard/easy is it??

    Thanks in advance!!

    Yes, it's a bit of a number - that'd be an understatement!

I'll see if I can sort you out a PDF of the procedure involved, but it's not for the faint-hearted!!

I have tried to clean it, but the only way is if i peel it off, but peeling means that it takes half of the dash with it anyway....

I tried to clear it myself but like i said when try to remove it it peels away at the dash itself leaving lesions.....making it look like the moon

I think the glue has actually eaten away at the material the dash is made of, so it can't actually be cleaned away now...
