    Default Ouch!

Just been quoted £530 by my local Vx dealer to retro fit folding mirrors to my Signum! Also got a quote for AFL but the number was so large I passed out!

Has anyone had this done and if so, who did you use? Open to suggestions!

AFL is massively expensive job even if you do it yourself.

The folder mirrors is a little bit easier to swallow. There's a how to in the how to section on here somewhere I'm sure.

Yeah I saw that but I'm cack handed and I don't want to break or damage anything....which is a guarantee if I'm involved!

The guy at Vx did suggest I talk to a few local garages and see if they can do it cheaper but most of the cost was parts so I'm guessing not.....I'll stick it on the list for Santa!

I picked up a set of folding mirrors and door modules off eBay for £120, which was ridiculously under priced (expect around £200) then Plasma off here programmed them to my car via Vaux-Com for a few beer tokens.

It's easily programmable at a Vauxhall Dealer, but you'll pay a little more.

buy everything second hand, fit yourself and get the dealer(or plasma) to activate.

AFL's your probably looking at about £250-£300 for the units/ballasts
about £50-£80 for a second hand CIM unit £300 ish new
about £50 x 2 for new level sensors
allow about £50-£100 for additional wiring
a replacement UEC (approx £30-£50) IF you want the ability to switch from UK roads to European roads

    and then fitting and programming..
Plasma's Tech2 services are now open and able to provide services

I need to have a good think about this because that is still very expensive. My lights work just fine already anyway
