Default CDTI 150 Intermittent loss of power/judder

    Hi all

Well, my 2006 cdti (150), 200K on the clock got a strange problem.

The problem would appear mainly when i depress the accelerator and below 2000rpm, never above. Mainly when the car have not reached the running normal temp. and most of the times in urban circuit.
There´s a intermittent power loss, when i accelerate, nothing happens, then i disengage the gear, accelerate in neutral, two ot three times, and the car comes back to normal. If i continue with my foot down the accelerator, the car eventually awakes but only after a couple of seconds(or minutes, should i say) but sometimes not...

Randomly the spanner light comes on the dashboard but just until the malfunction disappears. There are no registered error codes.

Already replaced the throttle body, but seemed not to cure the problem.
Already cheked the vaccum hoses. Have put a fiat gasket on the EGR a year ago with no problems whatsoever.

    What might be?

    Sorry my english...

    Many thanks!

    More data....

Normal maintenance made three months ago.

Problem appears always under 2000rpm, never above.

When i accelerate right after i released the accelerator.

Mostly when the car has not reached the normal operating temperature or when i start the car after a couple of hours stopped.

Already cleaned boost sensor with carb cleaner.

Have previously cleaned the EGR and fitted a Fiat blanking plate and gasket about two years ago.Clogged EGR already?

If i unplug the EGR to test it, the malfunction light on the dashboard can be erased only by "battery reset"? I have no Tech2.

Sound like symptoms of a bad Boost sensor or Camshaft position sensor.

I bought a new(used once for testing purposes)throttle body after cleaning the old one with no results.
Installed the new one but the problem persisted...

So I decided to clean the EGR, and guess what, the defective part was in fact... the EGR

    Before:

After the EGR and solenoid cleaning and some lubrication with WD40 (the EGR was partially blocked/jammed:

The car it´s OK! Pulls like a raging bull now...

    Many Thanks to you all.
