My vectra is star sliver 3 but am painting my boot strip at the min will star sliver 2 do or will it stand out thats its the wrong colour??

SS2 & SS3 are noticably different colours.

I touched up my wheels with SS3. Was told later that the closest colour match for the wheels is actually SS2. The SS3 is a slightly darker colour.
