Default Fuel filter housing leak any suggestions?

I have a leak or constant weep from the top of my fuel filter housing. There was a slight weep previously but since I changed my filter it has got worse. I think there is some damage or distortion to the housing as I was very careful putting it back together and have it as tight as I can get the lock ring.
I could not identify any problems with the filter assembly when I took it to bits. I was expecting a damaged seal or similar.
Has any one had any similar issues or had to replace the filter housing?

They are a pain in the A R S * to put back together. Your local dealer will have the proper tool to do it so might be worth asking them to sort it. I will never attempt to do one again after the last time I tried

So its just an assembly issue rather than a new housing. Thanks, I will get it checked out. I did not realise there was a special tool required and I am un-impressed with the price of the housing replacement cost ...........£110 on Ebay! So fingers crossed it my assembly technique.
