"Proper" car ramp/lift

Just a random question...

I've always wanted a fully kitted out workshop to work on my "toys", including a proper car lift.

Is this realistic? How much would a car lift cost?

Pit would be easier! You would have to raise the roof on the garage with a ramp

I've not got anywhere for the kit right now, but maybe in future. Missus has a "decent" amount of money and likes the idea of us getting a house in the fields somewhere.

I like the idea of an outbuilding to turn into a workshop!
