Heated seat switches question

any help on this is appriecated on this.

i have a 2008 facelift sri.
i also have a pair of heated seat switches in the dash.
they dont illuminate though.

the supply behind them are live coz ive checked this through a circuit tester.

could it be possible that i have preface ( half canbus ) switches rather than full canbus switches.

if they are half canbus, how can i tell them from full canbus ones???

I have same mate I believe its Bec they are earth switched . on reading on here if you connect the heated seat switch brown earth to say the alarm switch earth will illuminate. No idea if this works as yet to try.

half canbus part no are 13138251 and 13138252 liberated them from a scappie this afternoon sorry dont know full canbus numbers
