Signum centre rear seat won't fold down.

Hi

I've got a problem with my 2003 Signum. I've discovered that the centre rear seat won't fold down flat, it just seems to be stuck in the upright position and I can't shift it.

Has anyone had this problem before or has anyone any ideas what I can do to shift it, I'm a DJ and the car's useless to me if I can't use the full luggage area.

i take it your lifting the handle on the back of the seat , if that isnt working then the cable from the handle has either come loose or broken

Hi thanks for the reply. Yeah both the handle on the back and front don't do anything.

If you mean the front handle by the bottom of the front seat on the tunnel , all that does is let's you turn over the base of the seat it won't do
Anything for the back of the seat
Best thing to do is remove the middle
Seat and have a look at it
It's held in by 2 bolts and 2 nuts
2 bolts are at the sides between the middle and outer seats and the 2 nuts are athe back of the middle seat , they may be covered by bits of foam and carpet

It was the back of the seat that was the problem, I took it apart and you were right, the cable had come loose, so I connected that up and all is working fine again.
