Avon ZZ3????

So i need some new boots and when I purchased the car it was wearing Avon ZZ3s.....I don't have any complaints and they are reasonably cheap for 18s but wondering if there's any opinions/improvments to be had?

Also I'm wondering if its worth asking my local Vx dealer to quote for retrofit of folding mirrors....ballache or just expensive?

I had ZZ-3 on my Omega when they were launched due to the promotional price... and quickly wished they'd wear out faster - the grip was awful. Even on a dry road with a decent surface they'd slip and in the wet they were even worse.

When i got the GSi it had ZV-3 on and I did rather have my worries they'd be the same. Gladly though, I can say I'm more than happy with them - wet or dry and even on snow they're really quite impressive.

I used them on my 1.8 Astra G for years, didn't have any grip issues, and replaced them with ZZ-3s when needed.
