    Default Motorway Speed

    I did a long motorway trip yesterday and sat at around 75 -80mph. Just wondered how fast other people go.

    Set cruise control to 70mph and relax, I used to drive fast but now I stay legal and of course save fuel.

    55 mph on cruise.
    Averaged 44 mpg on my last tank of fuel.
    With a 50 mile round trip commute every day fuel is important to me.
