Default Making a normal Vectra an XP2?

    Hi guys and girls,

When I bought my Vectra, I was looking for an XP2 (forgive me if I'm incorrect, I'm new to Vectra ownership so have a lot to learn!) but they all had high mileage, or the ones that didn't were out of my price range.

So what I did was, after thinking about it, was buy an 06 low mileage Vectra with everything I wanted (sat nav, snowflakes, 2.0T) and thought to myself that I could just make it look like the XP2 ones over time.

Now what would I need to make my car:

Look like the stunning red one that's on here (owned by RichM)?

The different splitter/diffuser, would that go straight onto mine, or would I need the whole of the back bumper? Any info/advice would be great

    Thanks,
    Rhys

To make it looking like xp2 you need: xp side skirts, rear lower splitter (added into the bumper you have), boot spoiler, and total new xp2 front bumper. Or you can just buy front xp1 splitter and fit directly on front bumper.

The front lower splitter, the side skirts and the rear lower splitter and the boot spoiler.

    Basically the bits that are on this one;

The front lower splitter is cheaper than a new front bumper.

    Thanks for the replies guys!

OK excellent, so all of the named parts will fit directly on to what I already have? Apart from the skirts obviously but that's OK for now.

I already have what I think is the most expensive part luckily, the snowflakes!

    Cheers,
    Rhys

Was looking into this a bit myself.

If you just go down the route of using the XP1 splitter, rather than a whole new XP2 bumper and grill etc, surely the cost would be reduced significantly?

Useful page for part numbers I stumbled across :
