    Default Next Car!!

    You'll never guess, so I'm gonna tell you, or should I turn it into one of those guess what threads, NA! not my style, anyway here goes, since I've had the Vectra it's not been a bad car, but it's way off any previous Vx model I've owned.

    I'll list what I dont like.

    1 - The Windscreen cracking
    2 - Suspension parts failing after 15k
    3 - ****e seats
    4 - No Legroom
    5 - Laggy performance
    6 - Cheap metal on the hatch
    7 - Offset steering wheel
    8 - Noise
    9 - CD player
    10 Non response from Vx customer care.

    Narrowed it down to a Hyundai Sonata

    Nice looks
    Left me for dead at the lights

    Bye Bye Vx, you had it all sussed, decided to blow it away, and well I hope you enjoy your NEW customers as much as you did the old.

    And I know Vx reads there sites, so pass this on to the MD, I'm only one guy, but I have a large voice among the public.

    I'm not sure about build quality, everyone I know whose owned one (normally an Accent) says how reliable they are, I just like the look and it's about as near to an Omega substitute as can be found these days.

    As Mark says, the residuals will be naff, but I'll have written that against tax anyway so thats no problem to me anyway.

    It'll be a while yet as i owe too much on the Vec right now.

    And the screen issue, I've had 3 quotes.....

    Autoglass = £650
    RAC = £310-£390
    Local firm = £160

    Guess whose getting the job?

    Autoglass are rubbish based on my experience in the past.

    They changed a wind screen when I had a Volvo 850, a week later the screen cracked and they tried to say it must be the car's fault or something i'd done. The insurance co got on their back in the end, thank goodness !
