    Default 2.8 V6 turbo elite - can't be lowered?

I appear to have a broken rear spring so thought I'd get a set of lowering springs.

However, no manufacturers list any lowering springs for the Vectra 2.8 V6 Turbo (2007).

Is the fitment on this one model different to all other models in the Vectra range?

If it was the same as say the 3.2 V6 (or any other model) then they'd list it for both but nobody does list anything for mine which makes me think it must have a spring that is a different shape or something to the rest of the Vectra range and therefore no other spring from any other model will physically fit.

    Does anyone know for sure?

    All info much appreciated

You just need the kerb weight mate. Its the heighest weight for eibachs, same as 3.2 and 3.0.

I have them on mine. Or DAP do a spring for the VXR which is the same.

    OK, thanks guys.

Can I find a list of comparable kerb weights across all models of Vectra anywhere?

I had a look at the sticker inside the door shut on mine and there are 4 weights given so not too sure which to use.

From top to bottom, they're as follows:-

    2080 kg
    3680 kg
    1-1120 kg
    2-0985 kg

I'm guessing the first is the overall kerb weight, the second is maximum laden and are the other 2 the axle weights, 1 being front and 2 being the rear?

If I can make sense of these weights and then find a list of all Vectra derivations and their respective weights I should be able to find a suitable kit.

    That's great thanks.

    Sorry, I missed that before.

I'll go with the Eibachs listed for the 3.2 V6.

Did you upgrade your shocks, I notice that some suppliers state the ones for the 3.2 V6 apparently require shorter uprated shocks?

I have those fitted to my Signum, with no problems at all. They made a great difference, much much better.

You need shortened shocks. Bilstein b6 or b8. I have b8s.
