Default Is having a Vectra estate with 3 kids feasible?

With the impending arrival of our 3rd baby Iím thinking about having a 3rd foray into Vectra C ownership. Legally I could do it, but does it work practically? Anyone here have 3 children and a Vectra estate? Come babyís arrival my eldest will be 5 and the middle child 18 months. I hope it does work, Iíd like to have one more car before Iím consigned to people carrier hell.

if its the worry of carrying all the items such as prams etc then yes go for it, the estate boot is huge
inside its big aswell with loads of leg room(more than the hatch)
get an sri and you've got the best of both worlds.

hope this helps,i was like you i could'nt bring myself to succome to a people carrier

Should be fine, and the boot is more then big enough. You'll even be able to fit a really big tv in the boot, which you could obviously do with

Thanks for the replies. It's literally physically fitting the kids across the back I'm worried about, I know the boot's are gigantic on the estate. TBH the boot is big enough in my current 528, but thanks to the design of the rear seat (big bolsters either side) thereís no way I can fit 3 kids in the back.

The plan is to have the eldest in the middle with one of those things that adjusts the adult belt so it doesnít strangle her. Kids over 3 donít need to have a booster seat in the middle if there are two seats already fitted.

Obviously she needs to be safe, hence the belt adjuster, but sheís in a seat that only uses the adult belt to restrain her anyway.
