clicking behind glovebox..

when i turn on the ignition there is a loud clicking noise from behind the glovebox... there was no noise when i brought the car but i was wiring in a sub and removed the glovebox to run the clables and found a plug hanging... since if plugged it back in its making a horrible noise. if i didnt plug it back in a wold never have noticed... what does it do and what part is it that is brroken and where can i get it from..

. Mine went a couple of years back, you have to be a contourchinist to change it,very awkward but with patience you will be fine.

so can someone find a link to what i need to fix itfrom ebay or a vauxhall part number or something...

you say recirc flap as motor slips, but is it the flap i need to replace or the motor? what do i search for?

want a cheap as possible fix and iv found ebay always produces the cheapest parts so far..

Mine decided to go south on me last month

One of the teeth on the gears inside had sheered off.

would this be the part i need then? or do i need extra bits... also there seems to be a few diff part numbers but all parts look the same... some say they are for semi automaticor electronic climate control and some are just for electronic climate control.. how do i know which one is for my car. its a 2004 1.9cdti sri 150 spec..

Not sure if it differs for cars with climate control (no idea if yours has it???) but for cars without, the part number is 13192013
