    Default Mobile Phone Tariffs

Right then ladies and gentlemen, I'm after an iPad or android tablet and want to tie one in with my phone renewal. I have an iPhone which I'm happy to keep so need a deal where I get a tablet and a sim for my phone, I want a 3G tablet and to have unlimited data for my phone and the tablet. Does anyone know of any good deals?

Are you wanting to use the same sim in both?

If so you will need a micro sim to sim converter.

Arent there isues with some companies only doing certain tariffs that work with iphones (I may be wrong)

Have a look on top cash back and quidco, as all the big companies are doing cash back on sim only deals at the moment. Also look at gifgaf. The big issue is no company does true unlimited data. They are all subject to fair usage.

If your saying you want a tablet on contract and to swap the sim across you will struggle because of the microsim issue.

Just thought Im presuming your iphone uses microsim?

I'd like a sim for each so two sims but to run both off the same tariff. I'm not fussed about how much text or call allowance I would get on them. The cash back thing is a good idea though!

Not sure you can do that. Im prepared to be proven wrong, but have looked before.

I've looked and I'm struggling to find anything. I wouldn't have thought I'm the only person who would want to do this though? I might head into a few shops and see what I can get.

If you buy a phone that can tether data/wifi signal you only need 1 sim.

Can my iPhone do that? I'm in no rush to get rid of my 3GS to be honest.

You can run 2 sims on one tariff on a business contract. I have 2 iPhones, 2 numbers, 2 sims but only one monthly bill from O2 this way.

It's worth speaking to the networks about getting a contract with a data plan sim as well as a phone sim as from my own research before I bought my iPad2, a sim from an iPhone will work in the iPad but the phone company will get cross with you and there have been instances (all be it in America) where people have tried using 1 sim in both devices and the network has automatically added a data plan to their bill.

I think I'm going to have to ring round and find out what's what as the kind of deal I want isn't the type of thing anyone advertises on their website! I'm a bit suprised that there isn't enough demand for this type of thing for it to be worth them advertising a solution.
