SRi Specification?

Finally getting my 2.2 Direct Design estate replaced (at 173,000 miles!). Fleet manager has offered me a choice of 57 plate 2.2 Elite with 43,000 on the clock or a 08 reg 2.2 SRi with 14k. Tempted to go for the SRi but I am told that it has a lower spec than the Elite. Anyone tell me what the SRi comes with as standard?

On an 08 plate? Naff all mate. Literally. They robbed everything by that stage, including the rear electric windows...

Get the Elite and enjoy satnav, leather, heated seats, electric windows, dimming rear-view mirror etc etc...

If you like the handling or sports seats of the SRi, then you can fit all that stuff to the Elite without any issues - retro-fitting the toys is a much more expensive job...

SRI will have sports suspension, and more supportive seats but id think that would be about it. Elite may come with heated leather seats, softer suspension and also things like dipping rear view mirror, light and sight pack, illuminated sun visors, climate control, rear electric windows.
If it was me Id go for the Elite.

Were electric rear windows ever standard on the SRi, even the prefacelifts? I'm under the impression they weren't.

As above the Sri is limited on the vectra but looks a lot better than the elite exterior wise

Elite far better speced, SRI in my view much better to look at. I bought SRI as had cars in past fully loaded and electrics have gone wrong. As its my personal car and I pay for the bills Im happy with less kit as long as got ABS, Air con etc Im happy. Only thing I miss is rear electric windows but might get those fitted at some point.
