    Default Rattling passenger seat?

Hi all, my passenger seat rattles like hell whilst im driving on the motorway. It usually occurs while im driving 70mph. And its like it doesnt like being in 6th gear? And sometimes therse a vibration coming from the steering wheel. But when i use cruise control, the vibration seems to go away. The vibration seems to go if i increase or decrease the speed aswell. But whilst driving at 60mph or under everything is fine. Ive had new tyres, and had the 4 wheel alignment done. Could it be the driveshaft? rods? suspension?

Check the inner CV boots for splitting. If one is split, it's very likely that you'll need a new inner CV joint. My old DTi did it, but I got rid before I got round to fixing it

    Not sure on cost TBH.

Just remove the wheel and follow the driveshaft up to the gearbox. The rubber boot on the inner part of the shaft. Look here... >> http://www.trustmymechanic.com/parts...er_cv_boot.jpg

Cheers Tony. Ill go and see my mate tomorrow, and get him to have a look at it for me. If the part ive looked at on ebay is the correct one. I think im looking at £30+ for the part.
