Some little bits and pieces I can get my dad for his birthday. I'm getting him a snow foam lance and some solution and wondered if anyone has any other fairly cheap little accessories that make their life easier? Maybe something you use to dry the car that works really well or a brush that makes tricky bits easy to get to?

The Meguiers wheel brush is a useful little tool mate team it with some G101 from Autosmart (be sure to dilute it 5:1 though)

+1 for megs wheel brush. I cant fault my CG wooly mammoth drying towel, it is a little pricey but it can easily dry a whole car without ringing it out.

Elite do the same wheel brush but far far cheaper and not branded. Personly I didnt like the Megs brush because of all the flick off, my personal choice is the EZ Detail brush
